Olive tree is a hit. I choose the tall one with the curved trunk. It is dramatic and looks real. I love it.Fantastic quality. Now I need one for every room in my house ?We ordered this artificial olive tree to brighten up an empty corner of our home where a large plant should probably be. Unfortunately, we cannot have a real plant because we have cats who like to eat them. One of the cats (not pictured because she is the worst one and we are ashamed of her) even used our former fiddle-leaf fig tree as a personal litter box and we found poop all over the planter as it died.As you can see, this artificial olive tree looks realistic enough from afar that our other cat was momentarily fooled. But after nibbling on a leaf or two (both remained unscathed), he understood that this was not a tasty toxic treat and moved on with his life.The 7 foot olive tree looks wonderful in our home. It was extremely easy to assemble and we put it in a nice planter of our own. It came with a bag of moss you can use to cover the pot with to add to the “realism”.While extra close observation will reveal that the plant is fake, it serves its purpose, and is a nice quality for the cost. In my experience, up close realism for a 7 foot plant will typically set you back 3 or 4 times this price, and it is rare that anyone sniffs about so closely.The branches are easy to spread out and arrange however you want after assembly, giving you a full and bushy olive tree. It adds instant drama and a pop of “nature” to any room. Our space felt immediately transformed.I highly recommend this olive tree to anyone who can’t have the real thing.While I love the height and overall look of the tree it’s not exactly the quality I was hoping for. When I first opened the box I had at least 20 olives tumbling around. Then as I was trying to fluff it up more faux olives fell off. Then, the leaves themselves are pretty difficult to bend back into shape. I do love how it comes apart into 2 pieces for easy storage and how sturdy the base is. It’s a beautiful tree I just wish the quality of the leaves abs faux olives were a bit higher.The tree looks life like. It is easy to put together. The branches are not bendable. I wanted to bend them after they were bunched together in the box. After time out of the box it relaxes and does not look as squished.Perfect size for a room with a normal height ceiling.This fake tree is Made in China and being sold by a Chinese company on Amazon. At the current price of 150 bucks, it's well over twice the price it should be.I love this fig tree so realistic looking.i paid double for my other fig tree from another buyer great quality and value. I just love the way it looks. Very sturdy and easy to assemble.The metal rod that sticks out of the tree trunk and extends into the pot is about a quarter inch long. So good luck having this tree stand up. The pot itself is quite heavy and would hold the tree in place if there were actually a long enough rod to insert into the pot. Also the tree does not look as good in person as it does online, but I guess that’s the way of most things these days. In order to use the tree I had to rummage through my garage for an old Christmas tree stand. This artificial olive tree costs a ridiculous amount of money for me to have to rig up a Christmas tree stand as a base. I would not recommend this item.
