I got this for my son who is in first grade. While he knows how to add up to 10, beyond that is unchartered territory for him. Some of these games he would be able to do, but others were outside of his scope, but he can work toward the subtraction, multiplication and division games as he gets older! He loves buttons and this is educational, so great for long trips and keeping him busy. The description says ages 3 and up, but none of my kids at age 3 would have been able to use this correctly. It would have just been a "cell phone" toy for them at that age. I'd say age 5/6 and up is more accurate. As a homeschooling mom, I love anything that the minimizes clutter and offers a more fun way for my daughter to learn. I definitely recommend this device as it not only helps with memorization but also speed drills. It offers addition and subtraction (one and two digit), multiplication, division, as well as strategies. I cannot speak to its longevity but my initial take is that it's great. It’s a good product. I got this for my daughter who is in 2nd grade, and she can not put it down she loves it that much! Packaging is simple and comes with a charging cable, however no doc to plug it in with. The other end is a usb end, so thankfully I have plenty of charging docs around to be able to plug it in to charge when needed. I would recommend this for any kiddo that loves math or needs a fun way to help them get a little better!
